Public tender assessment: do subject, location, references and deadline fit?
Tenderpool reads the documentation of every new tender and assesses how well it matches your company profile and your criteria. You get a 0 to 100 score and a short reason for each fit point and criterion.
- You know what to bid for and spend your time on bids for suitable tenders
- Where a condition is unclear, you know what to look for in the documentation
- You set an unsuitable tender aside before you put work into it

The basis of assessment: your company profile
Tenderpool assesses tenders by what your company does and what it has capacity for. It prepares your profile from your website and public sources, usually within two minutes. You check it and add, for example, qualifications and references.
- Focus and regionsYour profile says what you do and in which regions you deliver, or that you operate across Czechia.
- Tender size and capacityYour profile also covers how large the tenders you usually carry out are and how many people, machines and other resources you have for them.
- What you do not doWhen a tender falls into an area you exclude in your profile, the score drops to the minimum and the detail shows you why.
Fit analysis on six points
For each of the six points Tenderpool states whether it is a strong, partial or weak fit and explains why in one sentence. Above them, the tender detail gives a short overall assessment: how the tender matches your company and what will need to be provided. The 0 to 100 score is based on the fit with your company profile and on your criteria. A green score from 75 means the tender fits your company well. An orange score from 26 to 74 means it does not fit on some point. The reasons show you which one. A red score up to 25 means the tender does not fit your company.
- Subject and place of performanceTenderpool compares what the contracting authority is buying and where with what you deliver and where.
- Scope and scheduleYou see whether the value of the tender and the delivery date match the size of the tenders you usually carry out and what you have capacity for.
- Qualification and referencesFor qualification and references you see what the contracting authority requires and which of it you have in your profile. You know right away what you still need to provide.
The subject fits the firm. But the tender is outside the regions where the firm operates, and its value of CZK 6.2 million is above the tenders it carries out. The required references are missing from the profile.
Repairing the roof covering of a sports hall matches the roof repairs the firm does.
Zlín is in the Zlín Region, where the firm does not operate.
The estimated value of CZK 6,200,000 is well above the tenders the firm carries out.
Completion within 4 months would take up most of the firm’s capacity.
The firm has the required licence and ČKAIT authorisation in its profile.
The contracting authority wants 3 roof repairs over CZK 3 million; there are none in the profile.
Your weighted criteria: what matters to you
Besides the profile fit, Tenderpool also assesses your own criteria, that is, yes/no questions. Example: the criterion “Is the minimum value of a single reference contract lower than CZK 1 million?” has a weight of 3. The contracting authority requires at least one reference contract worth at least CZK 200,000 excluding VAT, so Tenderpool marks the criterion as met and explains why.
- The AI suggests criteriaThe AI suggests criteria when you set up your account, and you edit them or add your own.
- Weight 1 to 5The higher the weight you give a criterion, the more meeting it or not affects the score.
- Met, not met, not assessedFor each criterion you see the result and the reason from the documentation. A criterion that remains not assessed does not affect the score.
The contracting authority requires at least one reference contract worth at least CZK 200,000 excluding VAT, which is below the CZK 1,000,000 limit.
The tender documentation requires a minimum annual turnover of CZK 3,500,000, which is above the CZK 2,000,000 limit.
The documentation allows the authorised person to be provided by a subcontractor with their written commitment.
The documentation does not mention service after completion, so the criterion cannot be assessed.

Frequently asked questions
How does Tenderpool assess whether a public tender suits my company?
Tenderpool reads the tender documentation and assesses the tender against your company profile on six points: subject, place of performance, scope, schedule, qualification and references. It also assesses your own criteria, that is, yes/no questions that you give a weight of 1 to 5. The result is a 0 to 100 score and a short reason for each point and each criterion.
Does a high score mean we will win the tender?
No. The score in Tenderpool measures how well the tender fits your company profile and your criteria, not the probability of winning. Who wins the tender depends on the contracting authority’s award criteria and the bids submitted. A high score also does not guarantee that you meet the qualification.
How does Tenderpool’s tender assessment differ from the contracting authority’s evaluation of bids?
The contracting authority evaluates the submitted bids by the award criteria it sets in the tender documentation, such as the bid price or the ratio of price and quality. Tenderpool assesses the tender before you start preparing a bid and judges whether it suits your company. It also pulls the contracting authority’s award criteria out of the documentation for you, so you know what the decision will be based on.
Do I have to fill in the company profile for the assessment by hand?
No, you do not have to fill in the company profile in Tenderpool by hand. After you sign up, you enter your company’s website address, and Tenderpool prepares a profile from it and from public sources, usually within two minutes. You then check it and adjust the focus, regions, tender size, capacity, qualifications, references and what you do not do as needed.
Can I rely on the AI’s assessment of a public tender?
Treat Tenderpool’s assessment as a basis for your decision, not as a final verdict, because the AI can be wrong. That is why you see the reasons from the documentation for every fit point and criterion. You download any attachment of the tender with one click and check the conclusion in it. Whether you submit a bid is your decision.
